![]() There is no point in stopping to kill rats. And remember that a death scroll doesn't wakes up the plants.ġ3- Rat vortexes (sewers) can't be destroyed. Retreat to a corridor and kill them one at a time.ġ2- Run fast between the Snappers before the growing vegetation blocks your way and forces you to shot the plants. That ghost vortex behind a wall you can't get to? Just walk away from it, and it will stop producing monsters.ġ0- Always go for the vortex first, the monsters second.ġ1- Never go Leeroy Jenkins into an enemy mob. Your pockets have a limit, and anyway there are probably going to be dervishes next level that will steal the items from you.Ĩ- Whenever posibble, kill all dervishes from a level first and take the keys and scrolls later.ĩ- Vortexes only produce monsters when they are on screen. Even if you beat a level the first time, odds are you will lose far less health in a second run.ħ- Be liberal with keys and death scrolls. Then you can casually explore the level and reload to beat it seriously. Never get into a fight unless you can't avoid it or there's something worth to gain (artifacts, food, etc.)Ħ- Always save at the start of the Level. ![]() Having saved the game will not help you there, you will need to restart from the beggining.ĥ- On each level, your goal is to make it down the stairs with as much health as possible, not to kill the monsters. The best way to lose the game is overexpend health at each level until you find yourself deadlocked because you don't have enough health to beat the next level. That means the first few levels will be harder in single player, until you compensate the absence of a second player with the accumulation of all the firepower from relics on a single player.Ĥ- Health is your most important asset, and there is only so much food around. There are enough relics in the game to supply both players to maximum level.ģ- The game is balanced for two-player game. It's best to keep both players balanced to maximize firepower, rather than leave one crippled. You only need to go down 100 levels and kill the final boss.Ģ- In a two-player game, the manual advises to "specialize" each player, one getting the belts and helms and the other the wands. That's false, as should become apparent the first time you are forced down a chute with no way back. It focuses less in shooting monsters and more in finding you way through the maze-like levels.ġ- The game manual incorrectly states that you must go down 100 levels and then get back up. ![]() It's a gaunlet-like game, though I wouldn't call it a gaunlet clone. Up to two players control a character in their descend through 100 dungeon levels, at the bottom of which a devil (or demon) awaits. Unlike what the review says, in this game you do NOT control a party of 4 characters in search of treasure. ![]()
